• The Department of Computer Science in association with Computer Society of India organized an Intercollegiate Workshop on "Python Programming & Machine Learning” on 19th July 2019.The Chief Guest Mr.M.K.Prabhu, System Engineer, Pantech Solutions gave hands-on exposure to the Python programming framework and different levels of product development involved in Python.
• The Departments of Computer Science in association with  Computer Society of India organized a Guest Lecture on "Deep Learning and its Applications” on 2nd August 2019. The Chief Guest Ms.Sindhuja, Associate professor-Senior grade, Rajalakshmi  Engineering  College, Thandalam explored the concepts of Artificial Intelligence and its subsets Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
•  “BITS  AND  BYTES” club organised a guest lecture on 17^th August 2019. The Chief Guest of the day Mr.Kannan Swaminathan, Senior Solution Architect, Sagitec Solutions Pvt. Ltd., highlighted the importance of Internet of Things (IoT).
• The Departments of Computer Science and Computer Applications organized a One Day National Seminar on ‘Industry 4.0 Digital Business Transformation - How to seize your space in the midst of change’ on 14th October 2019. The Chief Guest Mr.SreenivasTrichyVenkatraman, Sr. Digital Leader, Publicis Sapient, Bangalore elaborated the need of Industry 4.0 trend towards automation and data exchange in manufacturing technologies & processes which include the internet of things (IoT)
• A One Day Intercollegiate Technical Symposium- TECHBIZ ’2K20 was organized by the Department of Computer Science on 27^th January 2020. Dr.C.V.Sureshbabu Professor, Department of Information Technology, Hindustan Institute of  Technology and Science and Dr.HannahVijaykumar, Head, PG Dept. of Computer Science, Anna Adarsh College For Women were the Chief Guests of the day.
• A Power Seminar on “Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning” was conducted by the Computer Science Department in collaboration with ICT Academy (ICTACT) on 13^th February 2020. The Chief Guest Mr.Solomon Ashok, Managing Director, Splendio Technologies deliberated on the latest developments happening in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

2018-2019

• Bits & Bytes club was inaugurated by Dr.S.Poonkuzhali on 20^th July 2018. She highlighted the importance of Business Analytics that assists data driven decision making and problem solving in all the sectors of the society.
• Organised an industrial visit from 23^rd to 26^th July 2018 to “Sansbound Technology”, Kodambakkam , Chennai, where the students interacted with the company people and had a first-hand experience of how a corporate entity actually works.
• Organised a Power Seminar on 7^th August 2018. The Chief Guest Mr.R.Hari Ganesh stressed that any business can leverage IoT applications to automate safety tasks to perform real-world testing using networked cameras and sensors to detect how customers engage with products.
• Two Day Inter-Collegiate workshop on Android Applications Development was organized on 30th & 31st August 2018.
• A Five day workshop was organized on “Entrepreneurship Development” in association with ICTACT and SIDBI from 10.09.2018 to 15.09.2018

2017-2018

• Bits & Bytes Club conducted inter-departmental competitions on 14^th July 2017 to encourage a spirit of healthy competition.
• Guest Lecture on “Recent Trends in Computer Science” was held on 22nd August 2017.

2016-2017

• Organized a Seminar on “Android Based Applications” on 20th Febraury 2017. The chief guest of the event was Ms.Aishwarya.K and Keerthik.S.
• A Power Seminar was organized  in collaboration with ICT Academy (ICTACT) on 04.08.2016. Mr.Vasanth Ragavan, Assistant manager-HR Allsec Technologies and  Mr. Daniel Jacob, General Manager-HR, EC Group Datasoft Pvt. Ltd were the Chief Guests of the session.
• A Guest Lecture on Android based Applications was held on 24.08.2016. The chief guests of the event was Mr.Vasanth Ragavan,Assistant Manager- HR ALLSEC Technologies, Mr.Daniel Jacob,General Manager HR,EC GROUP DATASOFT PVT. LTD
